Abir is an Assam-born, Buffalo-based entrepreneur. He grew up in Northeast India—home to the world’s second-highest biodiversity—where food, tea, and superfoods are part of everyday life, not trends.

From Assam’s bold black tea to the spices and dishes passed down through generations, flavor was always his connection to home. Moving to the U.S. only made that love stronger. He wanted people here to taste the chai he grew up with, the spices his family cooked with, and the ingredients that Indigenous communities have used for centuries.

As a marketer and founder, Abir has spent his career building brands and solving problems with equal parts creativity and strategy—but Laahe is different. It’s personal.
